The liberti churches are not simply concerned with compassion and care here in Philadelphia. We believe that the joy and peace of Christ is good news for all people. We believe that we are called to partner with churches overseas for our mutual encouragement and help in growing as followers of Jesus Christ. We also encourage liberti people to be a part of God’s healing of the world, and we support them as they are called to do so.
The International Ministries team at liberti encourages and equips our church to be involved in missions by praying, learning, sending and going.
SUDAN 2012 SHORT-TERM TRIP
This August, a group of teachers from liberti Fairmount will be going on a trip to South Sudan, Africa through the coordination of World Harvest Mission. They are going to be partnering with Bethany Ferguson, a WHM missionary, friend, and fellow member of liberti Fairmount who has been serving in Mundri, South Sudan for the past three years. She works in her village to develop teacher training and teach peace-building among the residents.
