There are two primary means through which the bond of Christian community is expressed at liberti.
In-covenant
Some churches would call this "membership." At liberti we use the word "covenant" because it mirrors the language of promise and commitment that God speaks to his people throughout Scripture. At liberti we seek to model that same "covenant" love in our relationships together as a community.
If you are interested in coming into covenant at liberti, we offer weekend retreats several times a year where you can learn more about the church and get to know others who are interested in making the same commitment you are. It is our practice to welcome new members into covenant on a quarterly basis as well.
Home Meetings
These are smaller groups of 8-12 people gathering in individual homes to talk about the practice of faith, pray together, and more deeply investigate the teachings of God's Word. Home meetings are the central means through which people are loved, known, and cared for at liberti. It is here that relationships are built, joys and burdens are shared, and the Christian life is lived together in the most practical ways.

Home meetings are not exclusive gatherings. Rather, they are designed to welcome new people into the heart of our church's life together. If you are new to liberti please feel free join the group that meets closest to where you live. Please contact the individual home meeting leader to indicate your interest in being a part of the gathering.
